Hunger, although unpleasant, gets us working and keeps us working.
A worker's appetite works for him, for his hunger urges him on.

If people are able to work but not willing to work, just wait until they get hungry. It's amazing how quickly people are able to find work once subsidies cease and their food supply dwindles.

Self preservation is humanity's strongest natural motivation.
